Panjshir's historic Northen Alliance now known as National Resistance Front (NRF) vows to fight Taliban with full force.

Spokesperson of Ahmed Massoud's National Resistance Front (NRF) in Panjshir valley says former Afghan government forces are forming a militia in the naturally fortified valley and preparing for "long-term conflict" but simultaneously negotiating with the Taliban. Afghan VP Amrullah Saleh also leaving in Panjshir and vowed to fight Taliban with the help of Global support

Panjshir valley was free from Taliban regime post Soviet exit and Sher E Panjshir; founder of Shumali Ittehad i.e. Northen Alliance Ahmad Shah Massoud had fearlessly defended Panjshir region from Taliban throughout brutal Islamic rule.
